For a number of years now, the French national federation of seed maize and sorghum production [FNPSMS - Fédération Nationale de la Production des Semences de Maïs et de Sorgho] has been undertaking promotional initiatives in Poland and Black Sea countries, the purpose being to develop maize growing in these countries and promote high quality maize seed produced in France through wider use.

In an international context, MAIZ' EUROP' duties are conducted by the FNPSMS.  This covers Central Europe and includes action to expand and extend maize-growing, to promote seed produced in France and to conduct technical, regulatory and business intelligence.
